Guided Meditations for Healing and Balance

The main area of support provided by the centre is the provision of counselling for survivors of sexual violence and abuse.

Meditation is a simple yet powerful practice that helps us slow down, reconnect with ourselves, and cultivate greater balance in our daily lives. Through mindful awareness and intentional breathing, meditation supports emotional clarity, reduces stress, and encourages a deeper sense of peace and self-compassion.

These meditations are designed to gently guide you inward, helping you release what no longer serves you and nurture what brings healing, calm, and resilience.

Releasing Tension

This meditation focuses on noticing and gently letting go of physical and mental tension stored in the body. By bringing awareness to areas of tightness and inviting relaxation, you create space for ease, comfort, and renewed energy.

Softening the Heart

Softening the Heart invites compassion and kindness toward yourself and others. This practice helps dissolve emotional hardness, allowing feelings of warmth, acceptance, and openness to naturally arise.

Inviting Peace

In this meditation, you are guided to connect with a sense of inner calm that exists beneath the noise of daily life. By resting in the breath and present moment, you invite peace to settle into your mind and body.

Releasing the Past

This practice supports letting go of lingering thoughts, memories, or emotions tied to past experiences. With gentle awareness, you learn to acknowledge the past without carrying its weight, making room for clarity and freedom in the present.

Letting Go of Fear

Letting Go of Fear helps you recognise fear with compassion rather than resistance. Through steady breathing and mindful observation, fear is softened, allowing courage, trust, and inner strength to emerge.

Healing the Heart

This meditation is centered on emotional healing and self-nurturing. It offers a safe space to acknowledge pain, invite forgiveness, and cultivate a sense of wholeness, supporting the heart’s natural capacity to heal.
